A GREAT CLEANSER FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

Physiological Micellar Solution by La Roche Posay is one of the best cleansers I have come across.

I love La Roche Posay, it's a brilliant brand, especially if you have less than perfect skin (that's most of us then). All their products are great but this cleanser in particular is the perfect make-up remover for sensitive skin. It is so good at removing make-up it's hard to believe it can be so tolerant for sensitive skin, but when they say it's gentle they mean it.

It's soap-free, alcohol-free, colorant-free, hypo-allergenic, non-comedogenic, extremely tolerant and has soothing, softening and anti-irritating properties. It doesn't sting, cause any reaction or breakouts and I am never red after using this, in fact I find my skin is noticeably more radiant, clearer and softer. I use this cleanser on every job I do and no-one is ever red after using it. I know I can trust it on anyone's skin and it wont cause a reaction, it's fantastic.

Apply to the face, eyes and lips using a cotton wool pad, I give it bonus points for being rinse free so you can take your make-off in bed (lazy, me?). You dont need lots of pads, it's not like other rinse free cleansers where there's still make-up on them no matter how many you use and it doesn't leave any residue, you don't need to use a toner after.

I use 2-4 pads depending how much make-up I'm wearing that day. I also tend to use a separate eye makeup remover wipe and just use the LRP on my face so it lasts longer. A bottle usually lasts me 3 weeks, if you are a heavy make-up wearer it probably wont last as long, or if you don't wear much makeup it will last longer. It costs £11.50 from Boots but I found it for £9.60 online here.

Which ever make-up remover you use it shouldnt sting, make you red or cause a reaction, if yours does consider trying this.

*It's also great to dip a cotton bud in to wipe away any eyeliner/mascara mistakes without making the area red or sore.

  1. I guess this has a similar formula to bioderma sensibio h2o. I recommend that one, too, to anyone with sensitive skin. It is also available as 500ml so it might last you longer :)I am about to finish my 4th bottle.
